The Covid 19 outbreak sent millions of office workers to their front rooms to work remotely for the entirety of lockdown, and lots of businesses are continuing to work this way, adding it to their list of perks when they're on the hunt for new candidates.
And it is in fact very popular - with 97 percent of workers saying yes to wanting to work remote either full time, or some of the time. Find the survey from Buffer here for more details. However, some people like to keep their work life, and home life separate, which we completely understand!
How do you work your remote job, and still have your home feeling homely?
Well good news is, lots of employees have started using flexible working spaces, this way they have the freedom of being in a comfortable space, without feeling like their home is an office.
To start off, we're going to look at Manchester and the 5 best remote places you can work.
Brew Dog Desk Dog
You're probably familiar with Brew Dog, but have you heard of Desk Dog?!
This is the perfect way to beat the working from home blues. Co work in an amazing bar, with unlimited tea and coffee all day and have a cheeky pint waiting for you once you've finished work.

We couldn't do our remote faves without adding in an instagramable book/coffee shop!
This is a remote employees or freelances dream with tasty cakes, drinks and a peaceful place to work. You can even pick yourself an amazing book to read in between your work load.
Get chatting to some of the regulars, and enjoy general chit chat again in a cosy cafe with some homely food!
The opening hours are 10am-9pm so you'll have plenty of time to get your work done.

Foundation Coffee House
This coffee shop is a favourite amongst freelancers!
You can enjoy delicious brunch with great coffee and of course, plenty of plug points to stay all day! We'd recommend getting there in the morning though, this popular coffee destination gets busy during the late afternoons.
This is great if you're looking for new scenery outside your home.
