1. It’s affordable on your student budget

Liverpool offers student accommodation starting from around £80-£120 per week.

Not only that but you’d be living in a big city for a cheaper price than Manchester or London!

But the most important thing of all – the nightlife. Not only does Liverpool impress when it comes to bars and clubs, but their Thursday student nights also make a night out nice and cheap.

Across all of Liverpool, you can find happy hour and 2 for 1 cocktail's in places like Concert Square, Be at One Liverpool and Red door!

2. The culture – there’s always something to do

Moving to Liverpool now means you live in a city filled with history and culture. You can visit our amazing Royal Albert Dock, the World Museum or if you’re a fan of the Beatles – visit the Beatles story and then make your way to the fab 4 café!

If that doesn’t interest you we have the Everyman theatre which is legendary in the city, Liverpool Empire and if you’re a fan of art the Tate gallery.

There’s definitely something for everyone.

3. We have two great cathedrals & football clubs

Liverpool is home to the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Anglican Cathedral. Two beautiful cathedrals that not only you can visit and admire, if you’re a student from The University of Liverpool or Liverpool John Moores – you’ll graduate in one of them.

It is also the home of Liverpool and Everton Football Club with two historic stadiums, Anfield & Goodison Park.

There is one question scousers are always asked… Are you a red or a blue? Be a part of it and visit both grounds.

4. There are some incredible places to study

Liverpool Central Library is one of the most stunning places to go for inspiration.

Whether you study a creative degree or not – it’s the perfect place to find some peace and quiet whilst doing your studies.

If working in libraries isn’t your thing, Liverpool has some beautiful parks such as Sefton Park. This place is gorgeous in the summer and is perfect to sit and enjoy the sunshine whilst getting on with your work.

5. You become part of the scouse family.

Liverpool is the friendliest city in the world and scousers will quickly become a part of your life. Make sure to pair up with a scouse classmate to show you the ropes and welcome you to our beautiful city!

No matter where you go in Liverpool, you’re always welcome…
