Whether you're looking for extra staff, or extra cash, we've got you covered this Christmas.

#1 – Home Alone

We're almost certain you've watched Home Alone, and if you haven't, you probably know what it's about... but if you don't, in a nutshell, naughty Kevin McCallister is made to sleep in the attic, and is completely forgotten about when his family set off for their trip to Paris the next day.

McCallister, wakes up to an empty home, assuming his wishes to have no family came true. Things get even more exciting for the little boy, when he realises two con-men are trying to rob his home, and he alone must be its sole protector.

It's definitely a classic - if the trailer has got you in the mood, you can find Home Alone on Disney Plus for £7.99, it will almost definitely be on the TV too throughout the festive period!

#2 – Die Hard

The Die Hard debate, is it a Christmas movie? Isn't it? Well despite it being controversial - it is a popular Christmas Film, and is set at Christmas time, at least that's one thing we can all agree on

A New York City policeman is visiting his estranged wife and their children, in the headquarters of a business his wife works for. However the festivities are interrupted by a group of terrorists, and the police man (John McClane) realises only he can save the hostages.

Definitely adding some drama to your Christmas!

You can find Die Hard on Disney plus for £7.99 a month, check out independent cinemas in your area too, lots of them play Christmas favourites such as Die Hard!

#3 – It’s a Wonderful Life

On a nicer note, at #3 we have It's A Wonderful Life. This film is wonderful and is perfect for those of you that love films that make you feel warm and fuzzy!

George has problems in his life, and is suffering with his mental health - so he's thinking about ending it all (during Christmas time). As he's about to jump off the bridge, his guardian angel rescues him, and shows him what the town would've looked like if it hadn't been for all the good work he's done.

It's so heartwarming! You can watch this film on Amazon Prime for £1.99 - keep an eye out on your TV for it too!

#4 – A Christmas Carol

Another fave of ours, everyone in London is excited and joyful of the arrival of Christmas, apart from Scrooge of course. Scrooge, played by Jim Carrey is later warned by the ghost of his late business partner that three spirits will visit him that night. The ghosts take him on a journey of his past, present & future.

You can stream this film on Disney+ or Amazon Prime for £3.49.

#5 – The Holiday

The Holiday has to be in everyones top ten. Amanda (Cameron Diaz), and and Iris (Kate Winslet) both live in opposite ends of the world but find themselves in a very similar position in life - successful in their careers, but unsuccessful in love. Amanda who lives in L.A and Iris who lives in Surrey, meet on a website where they trade houses for the Christmas period. From a Hollywood mansion to a picture-perfect English village, they step out of their comfort zones and find true love, with lots of exciting moments and characters along the way!

You can find this film on both Netflix and Amazon Prime! Also it will be airing on ITV2 at 11pm on 23rd December, and again at 8pm on Christmas Eve.

#6 – Elf

Elf is a great film for all ages. When Buddy was accidentally transported to the North Pole, he was raised to an adult with Santa's Elves. He understandably doesn't feel as though he fits in, so he travels to New York to find his real Father. Of course, full elf costume and all...

You can stream this film on NOWTV or rent on Amazon Prime for £3.49.

#7 - Love Actually

This British classic has to be one of everyones favourites! Nine stories cleverly intertwined to show how love can connect us all. So many amazing famous faces such as Hugh Grant, who plays our PM! Martine McCutcheon, Alan Rickman & many more!

You can find this film on Netflix, or you can rent it on Amazon Prime!

#8 – Bad Santa

This dark comedy involves two friends who reunite once a year for a holiday con...

Their usual stint of conning shopping outlets on Christmas eve when they dress as Santa and his elf backfires as Willie's (Santa) erratic behaviour, due to depression & drinking draws suspicion from the shops security guard. However all is not lost, (of course, it's a Christmas film). Willie befriends a small boy who brings a kinder side out of him, showing him there's still hope!

You can stream this on Amazon Prime for £4.99.

#9 – Scrooged

This 1988 classic is very similar to A Christmas Carol.

Frank, a successful television executive has a cold, ruthless nature that drove away the love of his life. After firing a member of staff on Christmas eve, Frank is met by a series of ghosts who help him re-evaluate his rights from wrongs.

You can stream this on NOW TV & Amazon Prime!

#10 – Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)

Another classic Christmas film with Jim Carey...

Whoville adores Christmas, and the grinch, who hates it - decides to ruin it for them all.

Accompanied by his adorable dog, Max, the grinch swipes everything Christmas related from the people of Whoville. However, he encounters Cindy Lou Who who puts a hitch in his plans.
