Brussels Sprouts can be just as flexible as you!

Here at redwigwam, we’ve been thinking about ways in which sprouts can work all year round, just like our wigwammers!

So, this Christmas, we’ve been trying out some Brussel sprout recipes throughout the seasons so you can eat them all year round.

Not only are sprouts delicious, but they are nutritious too… as they are rich in Vitamin K, can help maintain healthy blood sugar levels and are high in fibre.

(There are lots more health benefits to eating sprouts here).

Winter

If you’ve been unexpectedly inspired by sprouts after your Christmas dinner and aren’t quite ready to call it quits, why not try making the One Pan Autumn Chicken Dinner? It’s a perfect dish if you’re busy getting lots of flexible work and need a hassle-free tea!

Spring

Whether you’re saving for summer or still recovering from a busy Christmas, Kaleigh’s tasty Lemon Parmesan Shaved Sprouts will keep you going all the way through ’til Summer.

Summer

If you’re feeling a little bit nostalgic through the hot summer months, why not try the Brussels Caesar Salad by Waitrose! A healthy twist on an old classic.

Autumn

The days are getting shorter and the nights are getting longer already! You may be sorry to see summer go but if you’re anything like the supermarkets you’re already in the Christmas spirit. So why not gear yourselves up for a Christmas full of flexible work by making Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Cinnamon Butternut Squash with Pecans and Cranberries by Julia’s Album

As you can see sprouts are diverse and flexible just like our wigwammers.

A sprout is for life not just for Christmas.
