Your responsibilities as a warehouse operative
Your day-to-day role will include:
- Loading and unloading goods
- Stacking items onto pallets
- Labelling packed goods
- Handballing items and wrapping
- Ensuring your work area is clean and safe.
Basic requirements
No experience is needed, so this is a brilliant opportunity for someone looking for their first job as a warehouse operative. The only requirements are for you to be hard-working and willing to learn. There are lots of growth opportunities in this role – this could be the start of a rewarding career.
The ideal candidate will have fantastic attention to detail, be proactive and flexible, have a friendly attitude and confidence working under their own initiative as well as part of a team.
Full training is provided – the induction will take around an hour and is unpaid.
Shifts
You’ll be working 6am-18:00pm Monday-Saturday (with the occasional Sundays also required).
A minimum of 3 days a week for this role is preferable.
The rate of pay is £9.28 per hour.
