Warehouse jobs in Tamworth
We’re looking for picker-packers to join our clients personal shopping team at a busy warehouse in Tamworth. You’ll be working to receive, pick, pack and load orders, helping to offer customers an award-winning service.
This is a ‘cold’ job - all areas of the warehouse (except the freezer) have both ambient and chill (0 to + 3°C) sections and you will be expected to work in both.
About the job
You'll be undertaking general warehouse duties, including rotating stock and picking and packing orders (working to deadlines to ensure orders are despatched on time). Preparing and unloading vehicles and quality checking for damaged or missing items.
The role of a pick packer requires you to be on your feet and mobile. Whilst this is a rewarding role, with excellent personal growth opportunities, it is also very physically demanding.
We have a variety of day and night shifts available based on 40 hours per week. You will work 4 days a week, across all 7 days including weekends.
Due to working time regulations, our clients are unable to offer positions to people below the age of 18 in these roles.
At this site a £500 peak welcome bonus is available, you will receive the first instalment of £200 after 6 weeks and the remaining £300 after 12 weeks of service.
The shifts patterns may vary/change, depending requirements
You'll be a hard-working individual who can work both independently and in a team. No experience needed for this role; you will just need to be keen to learn!
