Warehouse jobs in Leicester
We're looking for Warehouse Operatives to join a fun and friendly team at a busy warehouse at Magna Park in Lutterworth, with transport available from Leicester. You’ll be working as part of the team responsible for moving and storing goods to, from and within the warehouse.
About the job
- The roles are for both warehouse operatives and VNA Drivers.
- You'll be working around the warehouse to help arrange and prepare orders for delivery.
- This role is very physical and requires heavy lifting throughout the shift.
Shift patterns
- Shift times will be confirmed after a successful induction, but work on a rolling 4 on, 4 off basis.
- Pay is £10.26-£11.59 per hour.
Induction/training shifts start at 11am and last 6 hours. This is paid.
About you
- You'll need to be driven, determined, collaborative, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Heavy lifting forms a large part of your day-to-day work, so you will need to be comfortable lifting 15kg during entire shift.
- A drug test is required before the first shift.
- You'll need to get a basic DBS check within two weeks of your start date.
- Experience in Distribution or Logistics is an advantage, but not essential.
- You'll be comfortable with scanning technology.
- You must be able to read and comprehend English to ensure your safety and the safety of those working around you.
The hirer is providing transport from both Leicester and Coventry. This is free for the first 10 days and then chargeable at £2.50 per trip.
